Not much to say today. I experimented a lot with techniques, scenes, details, colours etc.

Harry Potter &Charon

Long time no update, huh?
I’ve been busy with.. stuff, so I didn’t draw that much. Well, I did actually but there’s not much to show.

However, being absorbed by Harry Potter recently I drew my first ever Harry Potter fanart XD It’s a bit junky and nothing special, but I felt I had to draw something HP related at least once.
Other than that I’ve been planning and working on my own story Shallow Sleep again; refining character profiles etc. And I experimented with different colouring styles, hoping it’d help me to get better, haha.

Anyway, the first picture was one of those exercises, the second shows Charon as a child and his parents. I thought it’d be important to at least introduce them somehow, even if their part in the story is not that big. Don’t mind the quality of the drawing, please, I never meant to colour it in the first place but couldn’t help it in the end. I wanted to see them in colour. Just because.

Sebastian Michaelis doodle

…because I’ve been rewatching the first season of Kuroshitsuji and Sebastian is too awesome and beautiful to ignore, so I had to try drawing him again, although I feel like all my skills vanished a few days ago lol. However, I practised with Manga Studio again and somehow I think I’m getting used to it and start to figure out how it works. YAY SELF.

Second piece is a cover for a short comic lulz. You know him already, my dear newsboy :)

There are some more new things, go figure them out yourself, please, hahaha ;;;;

Practising cell-shading on an original character whose name used to be “Louis” … but I shall rename him again some day lol. Haven’t decided on a name yet, though…

I suck at facial expressions and decided to finally practise a bit more o/ The boy was supposed to look disgusted, but he ended up looking shocked/surprised only OTL I don’t know how that happened. The colours are really dirty, too :/ I’d love to say I wanted it to look that way, but I certainly didn’t lmao.

I really like CLAMP’s Kobato and was looking forward to the anime a lot! After watching the first episode, I felt like drawing a quick fanart and this is it. Nothing special, but I enjoyed it :3
