author’s notes: Drawn for this year’s Manga Magie contest. It’s a German contest, thus the story is only available in German for now.
summary: Many people know the legend about the world behind the rainbow, the world where pets go after they die. Humans created this story to ease their pain and to be able to live on, knowing they will be reunited with their beloved pets at the ends of their lives. The entrance to that realm is guarded by an elf, he makes sure people reach their destination safely and are reunited with their pets as planned. However, his job is not always a happy one, since from time to time there will be humans, who chase after the legend so desperately, even though their time has not yet come.
